Jesse and Taylor are planning a beautiful fall 2026 wedding, and for their engagement session they chose two meaningful winter locations: McConnell's Mill State Park and their private reining horse farm.
The Mill is where Jesse proposed, and the farm is where he grew up—making both places incredibly special to their story. As true Western Pennsylvanians would say, the thaw in Butler, PA made the deep snow a little “slippy,” so we carefully navigated each step. Thankfully, we missed the -12° temperatures from the weekend before and enjoyed a slightly warmer winter day to capture their memories. You can still see in the background of their photos, the frozen falls, which was really neat!
At the farm, we included their horses, Annie and Jane, along with their pups, too! It took plenty of helping hands to grab the dogs’ attention and get those perfect forward horse ears—but it was all worth it for photos that truly reflect their life together. All had fun - even the dogs while they ran wildly through the fields, which was really entertaining!
Can't wait until October when I will be photographing their wedding too! Congratulations you two!!!
