Emma's High School Senior Photos + Horses
Aug 23, 2025 | By: Elaina Eppinger
Meet Emma — a high school senior with an incredible story, a lifelong passion for reining horses, and some big dreams on the horizon. I had the privilege of photographing her senior portraits, and between the laughter, trucking down over the hill to get to the creek, and moments with her horses, it was clear just how much love and dedication she pours into everything she does. (Plus she is super sweet and humble).
Emma has been showing reining horses for about nine years, and her commitment to the sport runs deep. Her first horse, Bring It On Bert (barn name Bob), was the one who started it all — teaching her the ropes and helping her grow both in and out of the arena. These days, she competes with Cashin Big Muddy Chex, also known as Nitro, a horse as bold and driven as she is.
And here's the exciting part: Emma is verbally committed to the University of South Carolina’s Division 1 Equestrian Team! She’ll be riding as a Gamecock while studying nursing, continuing her passion for both horses and helping others.
Getting to capture this season of her life was such an honor. Every photo told a story — from her bond with her horses to the pride in her journey. Emma, you’re going to do amazing things, and I can’t wait to see what’s next!
You have an amazing future ahead!
Congrats and enjoy your senior year!
