McConnell's Mills State Park Engagement: Sara & Asa

Sara and Asa's engagement session was a little rainy here in western PA, but they were both fully up for the adventure at McConnell's Mills. We dodged most of the rain, and when it began to come down a bit more, we embraced it and made the most of the beautiful atmosphere it created around the old mill. I placed a light behind them to create a dramatic effect and to highlight the rain in the scene. Even when we photographed the ring, little droplets were visible on the ferns, which added a lovely detail as well. I am looking forward to Sara and Asa's wedding next year at The Woods at Eisler Farms.
