Bailey Henderson - Summer Wind Farm High School Senior Photos: Maryland

I took a trip to Maryland with my mom Barb Rader to photograph Bailey Henderson at SummerWind Farm! It is such a beautiful farm and very peaceful. I have been taking photos at EPRHA where Bailey shows her reining horses and was so delighted she asked me to take her Senior photos! Senior photos + animals are one of my favorite sessions! I get to be creative and Bailey exceeded my expectations with her awesome outfits! We squeezed them all in - before the sun went down and then some! I always enjoy getting to know Seniors and what their hopes and dreams are - they have their entire future ahead of them with so much opportunities. I asked Bailey and this is what her plans are! 

High School Senior: Bailey Henderson

Bailey’s Bio: My name is Bailey Henderson. I’m a 2023 graduate from Chesapeake Senior High School in Pasadena, Maryland. I have been riding reiners for about 6 years at SummerWind Farm, where I was able to find Smart Lil Topsails—aka Sailor— who is pictured! He’s not like most horses; he doesn’t eat apples or carrots. But if you have animal crackers, you’d better watch your back, those are his favorite snack! Though I feel comfortable with where I am and what I have right now, it’s time to look forward and begin my life, choosing my own steps. While it’s extremely nerve-wracking, I’m beyond thrilled to have the opportunity to be on the D1 Equestrian team at Delaware State University, where I will be majoring in Agriculture: Pre- Veterinary Science in hopes of one day becoming an orthopedic veterinarian! 

~ Bailey congratulations on all of your accomplishments, I know with the dedication and passion you will do anything you set your goals to be! (Especially since you show reining horses, the hardest and most humbling ride you ever will take).  Being part of the equine industry, we can always use more vets and one with experience like yours will pay off! Have fun with the next chapter of your life, enjoy the ride! There will be good days and bad; hang in there and you will be out in no time!
